Custom widgets

Embed an external tool or page inside klink.cloud next to contacts, tickets, or the Inbox.

What it is

A custom widget loads an external URL in a chosen position in the app (for example Contact detail or Inbox detail). Use it to surface a CRM, knowledge base, or internal tool without leaving klink.cloud.

Create a widget

  1. Go to Settings, then Custom Widgets, then Create widget.

  2. Choose Iframe or Custom, add a name and the URL.

  3. Pick a Position: Contact detail, Ticket detail, Menu, Contact profile, or Inbox detail.

  4. For Custom type, set Method (GET/POST) and Headers. Optionally select which contact or ticket fields to pass.

  5. Save.

The URL cannot be a klink.cloud app address. Point the widget at an external HTTPS page or tool.
